For pets travelling to Suriname on the same flight, they must be accompanied by certificate of good health issued by a veterinarian from the point of origin and dated not more than 2 weeks before departure from your home country.

Dogs and cats may be imported from any country provided they are in good health and have been vaccinated against rabies not less than 30 days before arrival in Suriname. If accompanying documents do not meet the requirements, the animal will be quarantined or admittance will be refused.

When travellin,g make sure you hand-carry several copies of the current records. For pets travelling as cargo on a different flight, forward airway bill to post as soon as it becomes available.
